The Listening Page – A practice for befriending yourself

Eight Monday Evenings • 7:00–8:00 PM • Zoom • September 28, October 5, 12, 19, 26, November 2, 9, 16

Meditation and writing that invites you to come as you are, hear yourself, and trust your own voice on the page.

The Listening Page is a quiet weekly practice of guided meditation, poetry, reflective readings, micro-memoir, and spontaneous writing.

I created this circle because I’ve come to believe that being in a quiet conversation with yourself is one of the most life-giving practices we can cultivate. When we slow down long enough to listen, we begin to notice what matters, follow our curiosity, and discover the small truths or delights waiting to emerge.

Together, we create a warm community for revelation, reflection, and the joyful discoveries that unfold when we make time to be present and write.

Each gathering includes:

  • Guided meditation to settle into presence
  • A short poem, micro-memoir, or reflective reading
  • A gentle writing invitation
  • Time to write freely without editing or judgment
  • Optional reading directly from the page
  • Deep listening and witnessing

Description

There is no critique, editing, or coaching.

This is not a writing class, although your creative writing will naturally deepen through the practice. It is not therapy or life coaching. It is the contemplative meditation & writing practice of paying attention and listening for what is ready to be expressed.

The Listening Page invites you to meet yourself where you are, hear yourself, and trust your own voice. The writing itself becomes the soothing, centering teacher.

Over time, you may discover:

  • Greater self-trust and confidence in your own voice
  • A deeper sense of curiosity and creative freedom
  • More steadiness in the midst of everyday life
  • The quiet joy of paying attention
  • A loving relationship with yourself, nurtured one page at a time
  • A welcoming community of women who value presence, creativity, and truth

Eight Monday Evenings • 7:00–8:00 PM • Zoom • September 28, October 5, 12, 19, 26, November 2, 9, 16

This is a small, intentional gathering for women who want to create more space for presence, curiosity, and truth through guided meditation and writing.

I would love for you to come along as I begin this new season. My hope is that The Listening Page becomes a joyful, meaningful community. A place where we can practice noticing, holding, and writing the details and discoveries that matter most. Together, we return to the quiet current of our own lives.

Because being in a quiet, graceful conversation with yourself is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
