Sometimes a wife gets to wondering…

The era of “madmen” and women as vapid beauty object.

In my teens I started collaging as a cheerleading form of getting in shape or making cards for friends.
.
I see collage as visual storytelling, a space to snip and paste opposing images side by side, allowing the subconscious to lead full self expression.
.
New narratives are in our hands. We can put observations together we never thought would “fit” and suddenly the old story takes a back seat.
.
All that’s needed is a pile of old magazines, a glue stick and scissors.
